What is Nota?

Nota is a personal capture app. Type what you want to remember — a restaurant, a book, a gift idea — in plain English, and Nota organizes it with categories, tags, and a spot on the map so you can find it later.

How do I capture something?

Open the Capture tab and just type, like "cozy wine bar in the East Village, perfect for dates." Nota handles the rest. You can also add places straight from the map: search for a spot, tap it, and save.

Does AI read my notes?

When you save a note, the text is processed by an AI service to file it with a category, tags, and location — that's what makes capture effortless. Your notes are never used to train AI models and never sold or shared.

What if Nota picks the wrong location?

Tap "Confirm location" on the note (or open the note's info screen) to pick the right place, search for it by name, or set it manually on the map.

How do I share a collection?

Open any collection and tap the share icon. Your friend gets a link they can open in any browser — no app required — and they can save the collection into their own Nota.

Can I share more than collections?

Yes — apply any filter to your library (a city, a tag, a category) and share that exact view as a link. Whoever opens it sees what you see, no app required.

Is Nota free?

Nota offers a free trial so you can experience everything before subscribing. Full pricing will be announced at launch.

What platforms does Nota support?

Nota is launching on iPhone. Other platforms may follow.

How do I delete my account or my data?

Email contact@notacapture.app and we'll take care of it promptly. Data deletion requests are honored in full.
